About Our Partners in Philanthropy
Partners in Philanthropy include individuals, families, and organizations who have named the Community Foundation of Mendocino County as a beneficiary of any type of planned or deferred gift or who have already established a permanent fund with the Foundation. Partners in Philanthropy recognizes the generosity of these donors and their investment in the future of Mendocino County.
By adding your name as a Partner in Philanthropy, you may encourage others to look toward the future and think about how they too may have an enduring impact on the causes they care about. (Or if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will always respect your privacy.)
Becoming a Partner in Philanthropy gives you the opportunity to enjoy the company of others who, like yourself, care about leaving a legacy to protect and strengthen this community. Partners in Philanthropy will be recognized in the Community Foundation’s printed and electronic materials and invited to periodic events.
To participate as a Partner in Philanthropy, you simply need to complete this form. There is no minimum bequest amount required to participate. We recommend that you discuss your gift with your family and with your attorney, accountant, insurance agent or financial planner as may be appropriate. You are also encouraged to discuss the purpose(s) of intended gifts with Community Foundation staff. This ensures that the Community Foundation understands your intent and will be able to comply with your wishes. In doing so, it is not necessary that we know the amount of the gift.
