Community Enrichment Grants

About Community Enrichment Grants

The Community Enrichment Grant program supports community-based projects that are consistent with the Community Foundation’s vision. These include projects that protect and advance the unique sense of place and natural environment found in the county, as well as projects that increase opportunities for people of all ages to lead healthy lives and to work, learn, create, contribute, and prosper.

Grants from the Community Enrichment Grant program are made possible by the Community Endowment Fund.  The Community Endowment is a collection of gifts of all sizes contributed by individuals who want to support a broad range of projects in Mendocino County. Their gifts help non-profits develop healthy communities, vibrant arts programs, economic and leadership opportunities, and projects that honor our special sense of place and rich natural environment.
