Anderson Valley

Anderson Valley Ambulance Service–$5,000

To replace an antiquated Heart Monitor/Defibrillator (purchased in 1993) to better serve our community of approximately 3000 residents.

Anderson Valley Housing Association–$5,000

To upgrade the domestic well water systems at two of the properties owned and managed by Anderson Valley Housing Association on Ray's Road in Philo and the Boonville Apartments in Boonville.

Anderson Valley JHS After School Program–$5,000

To fund two teachers and a program coordinator to plan and facilitate service learning projects for 25 7th and 8th grade students in the Anderson Valley Jr. High School After-School Program during the 2014-2015 school year.

Laytonville/Leggett

Laytonville Healthy Start Family Resource Center–$5,000

To purchase two computers, a printer/copier/scanner and software updates to maximize staff efficiency and enable them to be more productive and responsive to client needs.

Leggett Fire Protection District–$5,000

To complete the final phase of remodeling and upgrading of Burkey Hall Community Center by assisting with the cost of adding ADA access ramps, improving both the center's accessibility and its attractiveness as a rental location.

North Coast

CALSTAR–$2,500

To help fund the purchase and installation of a new mountain top radio repeater site and corresponding base station at CALSTAR 4, which will increase the safety and efficiency of our service in coastal Mendocino County.

Mendocino Area Parks Association (MAPA)–$5,000

To increase MAPA's business capacity and streamline its inventory/sales process by installing computerized QuickBooks Point Of Sale systems and hardware in the three of the four State Park Visitor Centers managed by MAPA.

Mendocino Land Trust–$4,000

To fund the due diligence/paperwork for the merger or dissolution/asset acquisition between Mendocino Land Trust (MLT) and Coastal Land Trust (CoLT), increasing organizational capacity and efficiency of land conservation efforts in Mendocino County.

Mendocino Performing Arts Company–$4,500

For a wireless communication system to enable stage hands and stage managers to communicate while on stage, producing more elaborate stage work and training opportunities for technicians on industry-standard equipment.

Noyo Center for Science and Education–$5,000

To build a well-designed website for the Noyo Center for Science and Education to assist with fundraising and outreach, to update the public on the development progress and to provide information on the restoration of the blue whale.

Noyo Food Forest–$2,300

To build two computers, install a local network and wireless internet and purchase farm management software to increase the efficiency of Noyo Food Forest's daily operations.

The Krenov Foundation–$3,000

To purchase a covered trailer to be used by the Fine Woodworking Program of the College of the Redwoods for transporting wood for student projects, and for transporting finished student work to galleries, public shows and special events.

Round Valley

Friends of Round Valley Public Library–$2,500

To replace many of the old and outdated children's books in our public library with relevant, high interest books including those in Spanish for the 10% of our student population who are not yet English-proficient.

Round Valley Indian Health Center–$5,000

To purchase and paint an 8' X 20' used steel container to create a permanent bike repair and storage shop at the Building Horizons (BH) Community Park, enhancing and expanding the Bike Wednesday Program for Round Valley youth.

South Coast

Arena Technology Center–$4,500

To purchase new computers and a printer so the ATC can continue to train disadvantaged, low-income South Coast youth and adults to use technology for homework, online learning, creative projects, small business development and internet surfing.

Friends of Coast Community Library–$2,500

To purchase a AWE After School Edge computer station that will be the focus of a homework zone for children at Coast Community Library, encouraging and enhancing the reading, writing and researching skills of children from 6 to 12 years of age.

To purchase and install a new tankless hot water heater and commercial dishwasher in the Garcia Grange Hall, making the Garcia Grange more efficient, economical, environmentally sound and attractive to the community.

To purchase 22 Chromebooks for use by Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students at Arena Elementary to engage in tech-based interactive learning activities designed to boost reading and math skills.

Boys and Girls Club of Ukiah–$2,600

For updating and maintenance of the Club's 10 computers so youth have an educational space to learn technology-based games, complete academic projects, use college preparation materials, and build resumes, preparing them to be tomorrow's leaders.

To purchase 3 new computers, two monitors, a server, and a wireless color laser printer to increase office functionality and efficiency resulting in expanded publicity, marketing, fundraisers and programs in Ukiah and on the North Coast.

The Arbor Youth Resource Center–$5,000

To purchase flooring materials to complete the first phase of the relocation of The Arbor Youth Resource Center, enabling the program to continue to grow and provide more services to local transitional-age youth.

Ukiah Community Concert Association–$2,400

To provide master classes to 85 Ukiah High School students and to offer two tickets per student for the artist's community concert in an effort to increase participation of youth in music education and to develop a more diverse membership.
