M. Cecil and Alice M. Gowan Memorial Scholarship Fund

Created by Josephine N. Gowan and Cecil and Alice Gowan’s grandchildren and their families to honor their grandparents’ legacy and to continue the scholarship created by M. Cecil Gowan as a memorial to his wife Alice in 1978. This scholarship fund provides an annual scholarship to an Anderson Valley High School graduating senior who will attend a vocational school, community college, or four-year college or university full-time. Priority will be given to students with good citizenship and attendance who participate in extra-curricular and/or community activities and have a GPA between 3.0-3.5.
