$400,000 Matching Challenge fund established by the Mendocino Family of Companies.
A $400,000 Pledge of Matching Dollars supporting Long-Term community restoration for youth, elderly, educators, emergency workers, and animals impacted in Redwood Valley, Potter Valley, and Santa Rosa. The Funds will be distributed by the Community Foundation of Mendocino County via an independent committee whose members are Carmel J. Angelo and Buck Ganter, Mendocino County residents; and Marty Olhiser, Sonoma County resident. Mendocino Companies will pay all related administrative and promotional costs – 100% of donations will be put to use. 

The Redwood Valley and Santa Rosa Community Recovery Fund is extremely important to the Mendocino Family of Companies as we have long, deep roots in both Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. We are grateful to our employees and the emergency response teams who helped. We want to assure our community that through our actions, we will be here for the long haul. We ask for support in order to restore and rebuild our communities. To that end, we ask that you join us in contributing to our donation fund—a matching challenge.  Every dollar donated will be matched dollar for dollar, up to the first $400,000.

The additional company actions that we will continue include a $5,000 relocation bonus to new employees who lost homes and livelihoods and a $1,000 referral bonus. The Mendocino Family of Companies also pledges to continue our regular community support of managing and distributing $300,000 in community action grants, agricultural education support, college scholarships, and matching capital programs to our communities for a wide-range of charity. By joining the Redwood Valley and Santa Rosa Community Recovery Fund, a matching challenge up to the first $400,000, we will work together in restoring Mendocino and Sonoma Counties. We are all at our best when we work together.
